Irmgard Waters

Mrs. Irmgard K. Waters age 86, of Gallatin, TN, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2020.

Mrs. Waters was born in Munich, Germany, on August 11, 1934, the daughter of the late Andreas Kreber and Barbara Hilsamer Kreber Dumaisnil. She met her husband in Germany while he was serving in the United States Air Force and later immigrated to the United States. Mrs. Waters became a naturalized citizen in 1968. She was a parishioner at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Mrs. Waters will be remembered most for being a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Waters was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Waters.

Survivors include her daughter, Barbara McGinnis (Michael): a granddaughter, Katherine Abagail Maisano (Matthew); and five great-grandchildren, Evie, Willow, Edison, Waylon, and Malena Maisano.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, September 17, 2020, at 1:00 P.M., Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.
