Jacqueline Omer Barnhart passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. Jacqueline was born on January 11, 1941, in Clay, Kentucky to W. Jack and Ola Blanche (Curry) Omer.
Jacqueline had great sense of humor with a quick wit. She was very proud of her work as an X-Ray technician. She had 32 years of dedicated service at Vanderbilt University Medical Center Department of Radiology. She was a loving mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her love, laughter, and humor will be missed.
Jacqueline is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Gerald. She is survived by her daughters Shauna B. (James) Knight and Terry Owens; granddaughter Kristen Smith; grandson William B. “Will” Owens; great-grandchildren Traycen and Rayna; nephew Jerry (Jane) McGill; niece Connie (Bill) Hibbs. In addition, she is survived by numerous extended family, friends, and co-workers.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 11am-1pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will begin at 1pm with inurnment to follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
