James Dwight Arpin

James D. “Dwight” Arpin, 78, passed away with his loving wife by his side on June 6, 2025. Dwight was born on March 7, 1947, in New Orleans, Louisiana to Edward James and Vida (Ovino) Arpin.

Dwight had a successful insurance business developing many friendships throughout his career. He was a loving husband and dad. He was an avid golfer. He had a tremendous love for children, volunteering with CASA as an advocate for children in court cases.

Dwight is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Vida Arpin. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Carla Arpin; his son Jason David Arpin and daughter-in-law Tricia Arpin. In addition, Dwight is survived by numerous extended family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16, 2025, beginning at 1pm at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests plants or donations be made in Dwight’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
