Mr. James Earl Heatherly age 76, of Hendersonville, TN, formerly of Chattanooga, TN, passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021.

Mr. Heatherly was born in LaFollette, TN, on June 7, 1944, the son of the late Charles and Myrtle Chapman Heatherly. He proudly served in the United States Army. Mr. Heatherly retired from UPS as a feeder truck driver after twenty-eight years of service. He enjoyed watching Nascar, building hot rods, but his passion was music, especially country, bluegrass, and gospel.

Survivors include his wife, Nola Heatherly; a son, Eric Heatherly (wife-Lindsey); a daughter, Christina Kingsbury (husband-Lance); two granddaughters, Christiana Faye Heatherly and Tia Annalise Kingsbury; and four siblings, Thelma McCreary (husband-Hobert), Glen Heatherly (wife-Rosa Lee), Louise Goins (husband-Lewie), and Clara Norris (husband-Wes). Many nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 29, 2021, at noon, Hendersonville Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.

Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at Hendersonville Funeral Home.
