James Simpson

James "Bo" Alvin Simpson, age 56, passed away April 19, 2015. Bo grew up in Knoxville, Tn. He was a fun loving person with his wife of 36 years, Laura. He was a graduate of Tusculum College and was employed by Health Costs Solutions for 20+ years. He loved boating and was a die hard UT fan. Bo was a member of City View Baptist Church. He was a long time member of Sertoma and served as a board member of Tanasi Shores.

Bo was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Kathleen "Kat" Simpson. He is survived by his wife, Laura of Gallatin; sister Terri and husband Doyle Strader of Knoxville; brother, Mike and wife Monie Simpson of Georgia; sister-in-law Janet and husband Ron Hobbs of Knoxville; brother-in-law Bruce Helton of Louisiana; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday at 1:30p.m. in the chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home. A reception will be held following the service at 4:00p.m. at Hendersonville First United Methodist Church 217 E Main St, Hendersonville, TN 37075.
