Jamie Rice

Jamie L. Rice, age 88, passed away on December 19, 2022.  She was born on October 1, 1934 to the late Ira and Edith Welch.  She is also preceded in death by her husband, Ulysses “Bill” Rice; sister, Nidle Wiseman and brother-in-law, Bobby Wiseman.

She is survived by daughters, Debbie Rice and Donna Brigance (David); brothers, Billy Welch and Jimmy Welch (Joyce); sister, Pat Harrington (Perry); granddaughter, Megan Jones (Zach); grandsons, Matt Franklin (Megan) Lee Brigance (Elizabeth); and great-grandsons, Braxton Franklin, Gage Franklin, and Jaxon Brigance.

Jamie always loved on the crazy animals Debbie would buy for her.  She also loved to sew clothes for her family.  Jamie was always there to help with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She always had a smile and kind word to share and was always there for others when they were in need.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Hendersonville Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Les Chapman officiating.
