Jan Stokes Jones - Age 69 of Hendersonville passed away November 8th, 2014.
Jan was a strong man that was no stranger to adversity. He lived his life to the fullest even though he became blind at early age. He was a sweet souled man that loved to play music. He was a lifetime member of The Nashville Music Association Local 257 American Federation of Musicians, President of the Nashville Tennessee Steel Guitar Association and a Mason of Masonic Lodge #359. He also worked for many years as a vendor for The Tennessee Business Enterprises. He was a great man, husband, father, papa, brother and friend that will be deeply missed.
Preceded in death by his parents, Mildred Brown Graves Jones and Willis Madison Jones; grandchildren, Drake Willis Jones & Paulie Nicholson; brother, Joel Brown Jones; nephew, Todd Patrick Jones.
Survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Kathleen Kay Jones; children, Paul Nicholson (Elizabeth), Mirinda Conroy, Inger Andree (Glen), Janna Jones (Christopher Overstreet), Willis Jones (Jamie Snyder Jones); 16 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Sally Maude (Jund); brothers, W. Mat Jones, Joe Kermit Jones, Johnny Graves Jones; several nieces, nephews, extended family members.
