Mrs. Janice Kay Dickerson age 79, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2020.

Jan was born in Omaha, NE, on October 11, 1940. The daughter of the late George Peter Christiansen and Frances Fern Miller Christiansen. She was a pet lover, loving mother, and a wonderful caregiver. Mrs. Dickerson will be remembered most for the extreme generosity of heart she displayed to everyone.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Dickerson, to whom she was married on May 6, 1965; a daughter, Chris Ann Dickerson; a son, Scott Dickerson (Cyndi); and a brother, David Christiansen (Marianne).

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at 2:00 P.M., Hendersonville Funeral Home with Wynn Batson officiating. Interment will follow at Beech Cemetery.

Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Monday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Tuesday one hour prior to service at Hendersonville Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to The Salvation Army 631 Dickerson Pike, Nashville, TN 37207.
