Jerry Fey, Sr.

Jerry Vincent Fey, Sr. born April 30, 1942. Departed this world on October 26, 2021 at the age of 79. He is preceded in death by parents Herbert and Birdie (Carney) Fey, brother; Bubba Fey, sister; Dot Colorigh. Mr. Fey is survived by his wife of 56 years, Thelma Jean (Hardcastle) Fey, his sons; Jay (Tonya) Fey and Jeff Fey; grandchildren Brycen, Cameron, Chloe (my baby girl), Easton, Jerrison and Jackson (my special little helper). Sisters; Joan Colorigh, Frances Berringer and Carolyn Morton, along with several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate Mr. Jerry’s life will be at 1pm on the afternoon of Friday, October 29, 2021 at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 4-8pm on the afternoon of Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the start of the service.

Jerry was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. He was a great storyteller; he had a way to make you feel the emotions he felt or see what he saw. His stories sometimes exaggerated but funny even when he wasn’t trying to be. He was one of a kind and very passionate about the things he loved. He was also very proud that both his sons and very close family member Tracy White have followed in his footsteps for the love of the outdoors. Jerry was an active member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church of Hendersonville. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
