Jimmy Shane Hounshell, age 37 of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2017. Preceded in death by his parents; Aaron Hounshell and Debbie Combs, grandparents; Wordie and Beatrice Hounshell. Survived by his daughter, MaKenzie Hounshell, grandparents; Tom and Mary Adams, Jimmy & Glaitha Tyler, sister, Natasha Hounshell Altizer (Derek), brother, Chris Combs, uncles; James Tyler (Joni), Thomas Adams and aunt, Missy Nelson (Dallas), nephew, Isaac Altizer and niece, Ila Altizer. Also survived by cousins; Ryan Wilson (Paige), Tiffany Nelson, Luke Tyler, Thomas Tyler, Daniel Tyler, Becky Hounshell, Jonathan Hounshell and Jay Patton. Shane is also survived by many extended family and friends.

Shane was born on November 29, 1979 in Hazard, KY and grew up in Jackson, KY. He was an avid sports fan, especially the University of Kentucky. Shane also enjoyed watching and being involved in area little league baseball. He played guitar and enjoyed rock music. He also enjoyed watching movies and playing golf. Jimmy Shane was an intelligent man that was full of laughter, had a great sense of humor and never met a stranger. He loved his family and cherished his daughter. Jimmy Shane will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Life Celebration service for Shane will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 2pm. Visitation will begin at 12pm. Burial will follow at Beech Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Shane's name to the baseball program at Goodlettsville Baseball , Inc., PO Box 601, Goodlettsville, TN 37070-0601
