Jimmy Morris Stinson passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024. Jimmy was born on September 24, 1949, in Lafayette, Tennessee to James Lewis Stinson and Ruby Gordon (Marsh) Stinson.
Jimmy loved fast cars and being on the lake. But, his true love and passion was his family. His daughters, Shelly and Kelly, were his pride and joy and he bragged to anyone who would listen all about his grandkids. Jimmy loved to be around people and was everyone’s friend. His humor, laughter and love will be missed by so many.
Jimmy is proceeded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Gordon Gammons. He is survived by his daughters, Shelly (Chad) Estep and Kelly (Nickolas) Schimmel; grandkids Palmer, Bailey, Carter Estep and Remington, Bain, and Lillian Schimmel; sister Janice Gammons, brothers David (fiancé Polly) Stinson and Dale (Cindy) Stinson. In addition, he is survived by his numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and the best of friends anyone could ask for in life.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2024, from 2pm-4pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will begin at 10am on Monday, May 20, 2024. Burial will follow at Hendersonville Memory Garden.
