Jody Lynn Hunt, a devoted accountant and cherished family woman, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2026. Born on August 28, 1960, Jody was a quiet, country girl who carried a spirit of kindness and a readiness to help others throughout her life, especially in her professional career. For 28 years, she served as an accountant for Nation Wide Studios, where her diligence and willingness to assist colleagues made a lasting impression.

Jody’s proudest accomplishments were centered around her beloved family. She is survived by her loving husband of 15 years, Michael Hunt; her children, Nola Renee Ordonez (Arron), Billy Blair, and Tiffany Adams (Kevin); as well as seven grandchildren. Her family’s joy has grown with the presence of two great-grandchildren, with two more anticipated arrivals bringing further happiness.

In her leisure, Jody was an avid reader who found solace and inspiration in books. When she was younger, she also enjoyed the excitement of attending NASCAR races, reflecting a passion for spirited adventure even in quieter moments.

Her parents, Clark Darrell Elkins and Eva Sue Elkins, preceded her in death, leaving behind memories that Jody honored through her own loving family life.

A visitation to honor and remember Jody’s life will be held on May 6, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hendersonville Memory Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center located at 353 E Main St, Hendersonville, TN 37075. This gathering will provide an opportunity for friends and loved ones to pay their respects to a woman whose quiet strength and warmth touched many lives.
