John Yanusz

John R. Yanusz, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at his home.  John was born on November 24, 1942, to John Yanusz and Elizabeth Mason Garnecki in Somerville, New Jersey.

John proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy being stationed his entire career in Japan.  After leaving the Navy, John met the love of his life Helen Drecksage and began his 30+ year career with the Xerox Corporation as a service technician.  John was a nature lover and enjoyed watching the deer, birds, and fishing, he was a HUGE fan of the New York Yankees never missing the opportunity to watch a game.  He had a great sense of humor with a quick wit.  Most importantly, he loved his family.

John is preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years Helen (Drecksage) Yanusz; his parents; and his sister Ruth Wenzel.  He is survived by his son John (Carol) Yanusz; daughter Michelle Conley; grandchildren Jaci Conley, Cameron Yanusz, and Myles Conley.

A Celebration of Life will be held for both John and Helen at a later date.
