Johnny Allen

Johnny Dwayne Allen, age 67, passed away on September 26, 2026. He was born on January 12, 1959, in Nashville, Tennessee, and was a lifelong Tennessee resident.

Johnny graduated from Antioch High School and went on to build a long and dedicated career with Action Bolt and Screw Corporation, where he worked for more than 40 years. He retired on July 1, 2026.

Johnny was a simple man who found joy in the everyday moments. He loved playing golf, relaxing on the back porch, smoking a good cigar, enjoying a cold Budweiser, and, most of all, spending time with his friends. 

Johnny was preceded in death by his father, John D. Allen; his stepfather, Billy Harper; his brother, Jimmy Allen; and his grandparents on both sides of his family.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Jessica Poole (Lisa), Heather Wilkinson (Malcolm), and Deidre Scudder (Mike); his mother, JoAnn Harper; his brother, Jeffrey Allen (Debbie); his sister, Jacqueline Wolfenbarger (Robert); his grandchildren, Sylvia Schroer, Lucas Kellerhals, Victoria Olszewski, Levi West, and Nolan West; his great-grandchild, Leo Schroer; the mother of his children, Kristine Allen; and his precious dog, Gigi. He also leaves behind many wonderful friends who meant so much to him.

Johnny will be remembered for the life he lived, the people he loved, the friendships he made, and the many memories he leaves behind. Though he is deeply missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Swezey's Pub in Pleasant View, Tennessee.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Red Cross in Johnny's memory.
