Joseph Gilliland

Joseph “Kent” Gilliland, age 53, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021.

Kent was born in Nashville, Tennessee on October 6, 1968, the son of Joe and Norma Gilliland. He was a 1987 graduate of Beech High School. He worked in construction and land surveying. He loved being outside. Kent enjoyed camping, and kayaking.

He is preceded in death by father, Joseph Erwin Gilliland.

Kent is survived by mother, Norma Gilliland, sister; Valerie (Eric) Maxedon; brother, David Gilliland; son, Chase Gilliland; daughter Katelyn Gilliland, and nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home, in Hendersonville, on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 1 P.M. Visitation for friends and family will be one hour prior to service time.
