Joshua Dotson

Joshua "Josh" Edward Dotson, 62, of Buchanan, TN, passed away on Sunday, May 9th, 2021. He is preceded in death by his father, Ray Edward Dotson, mother, Dorothy Ann Rush Parkhill and her husband, Bill Parkhill. Survived by his daughters, Angel Dotson, Melinda Dotson and significant other, Lisa Salisbury, sisters, Benita Cartwright (Ray), Rita Dotson and Kathy Parkhill, brother, Cornell "Corky" Dotson (Aimee), grandchildren, Trey Lewis, Layla Lawrence, Zane Primm and Kiara Hollibough. Joshua is also survived by his dog, "Little Bear", along with many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Joshua was born on March 2, 1959 in Madison, TN. He retired from ATS Southeast as an over the road truck driver. He enjoyed woodworking and was a skilled carpenter. He also enjoyed taking long scenic drives. Joshua was a great father, brother and son. He was a friend to anyone he met and will be missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of life service for Joshua will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home, 353 East Main Street in Hendersonville on Friday, May 14th at 2:00 PM. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow the service at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
