Joyce Arlene Coe, born on December 16, 1938, entered into rest on June 12, 2025. She was a person of many interests and passions, with a special fondness for mysteries, being a prolific reader throughout her life. Joyce also found great comfort in her faith, enjoying reading her Bible and engaging in discussions about God.
As a proud member of the Church of Christ, Joyce lived a life guided by her beliefs, which brought her much joy and fulfillment.
Joyce is preceded in death by her husband, Sterling Coe; and her sisters, Naomi Bates, Helena Gannac, Minerva Pinkson, and Reva Bates.
Joyce is survived by her daughter, Amber Foxall (Dennis); her granddaughter, Elizabeth Foxall; her nephew, Jeff Bates; and other nieces and nephews.
Family, friends, and all who knew and loved Joyce are invited to her graveside service, which will take place on June 17, 2025, at Hendersonville Memory Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Hendersonville, TN. The service will begin at 11:00 AM, and guests are welcome to gather at 11:30 AM for the conclusion.
In lieu of flowers, consider making a donation to the Potter Children's Home in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Joyce’s memory will live on through the stories shared and the lives she touched, as she leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and a thirst for knowledge.
