Juanita will forever be remembered as a dedicated and faithful wife, loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Late in the evening of August 12, 2016 she was called from her earthly life to her heavenly reward at the age of ninety-one.

She was preceded in death by her parents, A.C. and Maude Lehr; three sisters; and her beloved husband of sixty-plus years, Bruce McKenzie. Juanita leaves behind her greatest legacy, her family; sons, Lehr (Karen) McKenzie, Lance (Judy) McKenzie, Randy (Beverly) McKenzie; grandchildren, Shawn (Kristen), Kimberly, Robert (Lisa), Dean; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Juanita to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org/donate. Please be sure to indicate your memorial donation in Juanita McKenzie's honor.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. culminating in a Celebration of Juanita's Life at 11 a.m. All will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
