Judy Ann Gallo passed away on September 8, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories.
Judy was born on November 10, 1941, in Lansing, Michigan, to the late Milo and Martha Salter. She attended and graduated from White Station High School in Memphis, Tennessee.
Throughout her life, Judy was a dedicated and hardworking woman. She spent 25 years working at Graham Animal Hospital and also worked for many years at Macy’s. For the final six years of her career, Judy worked at Dillard’s, where she continued to make a positive impression on those around her.
Above all else, Judy treasured her family. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and could often be found attending their sporting activities and cheering them on. Her family was her greatest joy, and the memories they made together will be treasured forever.
Judy was a positive light in this world. She had a genuine love for people and cared deeply for everyone she encountered. Her kindness, warmth, and loving spirit touched the lives of so many, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her siblings, Butch Salter, Bill Salter, Bobby Salter, and John Salter; and her son, Darren Gallo.
She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Oden (Shane); grandchildren, Haleigh Southern (Beaux), Ryan Oden (Chanley), and Judy Ann Oden; and great-grandchild, Stetson Southern.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Hendersonville Funeral Home, 353 E. Main St., Hendersonville, TN 37075.
Judy’s loving spirit and beautiful heart will remain in the memories of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
