Karen Marie (Wonick) See, age 78, of Hendersonville passed away at her home on Wednesday, December 16, 2020. Mrs. See is survived by her husband of 57 years Frederick, children Scott (Julie) and Mark (Michelle); grandchildren Christopher, Oscar, Joseph, Daniel and Michael; siblings Richard Wonick, Lawrence Wonick and Debbie Dlouhy. Karen is also survived by many extended family and friends.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Donna Wonick. Karen was born on January 21, 1942 in Iowa City, Iowa. She lived in Tennessee for the last 44 years. She had an Associates of Accounting Degree from Volunteer State Community College. She retired from Comcast after 21 years and was known as the "Cable Lady". She enjoyed cooking and helped cater the Hendersonville Rotary Club breakfast for around 40 years. Karen was a member of St Timothy Lutheran Church and served as the Financial Secretary for many years. She enjoyed traveling in many countries throughout the world with her husband and volunteering at many local charities. Karen was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be truly missed by her family and all who knew her.

A celebration of life service for Karen will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home, 353 East Main Street, on Wednesday, December 23rd at 1:00 PM, presided by Pastor Lewis Groce. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, December 22nd from 4:00 PM- 7:00 PM, and again on Wednesday, one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation, the Hendersonville Samaritan's Center, or the VFW Food Bank.
