Karen Kay Sisk

Karen Kay Sisk passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 65. Karen was born on August 23, 1959 to the late Clifton and Ineze Grissom in Nashville, Tennessee. 

She was a devoted toddler teacher who truly loved being around children. Her warmth and kindness shone through in her work and throughout her life.

Karen was a wonderful wife to her husband, Robert Sisk, and a caring mother to her daughter, Tonya Hans. She cherished her role as a nana to her granddaughter, Madeline "Maddie." Family meant the world to her, and she enjoyed creating beautiful memories with them.

Karen had a passion for fun and adventure, particularly when it came to visiting Disney and going on Disney Cruises. These were special times that brought her joy and happiness.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Ineze Grissom; and her brother, Clifton Ray Grissom.

Karen will be remembered for her loving spirit and the joy she brought to those around her. She leaves behind her husband, Robert Sisk; daughter, Tonya Hans; granddaughter, Madeline "Maddie" Hans; and other family members who will miss her dearly.

A graveside service for Karen will be held at Hendersonville Memory Gardens (353 E. Main St. Hendersonville, TN 37075) at 10:00 am on Friday, February 14, 2025.
