Kathy Parry, age 68, of Hendersonville passed away on December 21, 2023. Kathy was born on September 23, 1955 in Bedford County.

Kathy's career as an educator was filled with love and compassion. Kathy dedicated lots of time to working with children with special abilities, whom she affectionately referred to as her "babies." She had a unique ability to connect with her students and inspire them to reach their full potential. Her unwavering dedication to their growth and well-being was truly remarkable. Kathy poured her heart and soul into her work, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of countless children and their families.

Outside of her profession, Kathy was known for her kind-hearted nature and willingness to help others. She thrived on organizing family gatherings, bringing loved ones together to create cherished memories. Her warm presence and infectious laughter could light up any room. Kathy found joy in working in her garden. She also enjoyed cooking and baking. Genealogy was another passion of hers, as she delved into the rich histories of her own family and provided invaluable insights for future generations.

Kathy enjoyed baseball, especially the Atlanta Braves. She passionately cheered on her favorite team from the stands or from the comfort of her own home. Kathy also cherished the opportunity to travel and explore new places. In her leisure time, Kathy found enjoyment in playing computer games and watching movies. 

Kathy is preceded in death by her late husband, William Scott Parry; mother, Dorothy Helen Richardson; and sister, Deborah Sharpe. 

Kathy is survived by her husband, Gary Eisenberg; children, William David Parry (Ashley), Amanda Boaz (Daniel), and Hyde Eisenberg; grandson, Adrian Boaz; sisters, Ann Harper and Donna Ruis (Billy); aunt, Jackie Tidwell; and nieces, nephews, and numerous other family members. 

Kathy Parry's gentle spirit, unwavering dedication, and genuine love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her impact as an educator and her ability to touch hearts will forever be remembered. As we gather to celebrate her life, please join us for a visitation on December 29, 2023, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hendersonville Memory Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center located at 353 E Main St, Hendersonville, TN 37075.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kathy's name to Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation or Special Olympics.
