Keith Abney

Keith Alan Abney, 64, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Tuesday, June 16th in his home. Doctor Abney was born in Searcy, Arkansas where he attended Harding University and University of Arkansas Medical School. He worked and retired from the VA hospital system in Tennessee. Doctor Abney was an avid gun collector, scotch connoisseur, and enjoyed spending time with his dog, Taz.

Survivors include his wife, Lesa; his parents, Robert and Melba Abney; his sister, Norma Rogers; his three children, Kristin Lawrence and her husband Adam, Kevin Abney, and Kristopher Abney and his wife Susan Ramos-Hunter; and his grandchild, Hannah Lawrence.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you help aid research in cancer by donating to the Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center.
