Lavert Fornoff Sneed

Lavert Fornoff Sneed, age 94, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023. Lavert was born in Nashville, TN on February 26, 1929. He was the son of the late John Currin Sneed and Willie Mae Pentecost Sneed.

Mr. Sneed is survived by his daughter Glenda Vanderveer (C.Courtney).

Lavert was preceded in death his loving wife Betty Jean Sneed; brother Kenneth Howard Sneed; sisters Nita Ione Page, and Dolores Mae Balls; granddaughter Victoria Leigh Vanderveer.

The Sneed family will be celebrating Mr. Sneed’s life in private.

Mr. Sneed  served  in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict.
