Letitia "Tish" Wright of Hendersonville, passed away on Sunday, February 23rd at the age of 81. Preceded in death by her husband of 14 years, Matthew Slater Wright and parents; Robert Owen Wolcott and Hilda Louise Smith. Survived by her daughters, Jennifer Gladdish (Bennie) and Julie Gilliam (Chris), grandchildren; Matthew Gladdish, Sydney Gilliam and Christian Gilliam, brother, Robert Michael Wolcott (Becky), along with many extended family and friends.

Tish was born on October 19, 1938 in Powderly, Kentucky. She retired in 1999 from Sumner Regional Medical Center where she worked as a physical therapist and Director of Rehab Services. Tish enjoyed painting and gardening. She was an avid traveler to destinations across the United States and Europe as well as taking Alaskan cruises. In her later years, Tish even took up ballroom dancing. Tish was longtime member of Hendersonville First Baptist Church and was involved in several activities there. Tish was a kind and loving woman who will be missed by all those that knew her.

A celebration of life service for Tish will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home on Saturday, February 29th at 2:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Bruce Chesser. Visitation for family and friends will be from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Tish's name can be made to Hendersonville First Baptist Church.
