Lila “Lee” Teubert, age 91, born November 10, 1930 in Winona, West Virginia passed away Sept. 12th 2022 peacefully at her home with family by her side in Hendersonville, TN. She was preceded in death by parents Maude & Robert Moses, two sisters, Beulah “Duke” Walkup and Delora “Sal” Fink and one brother Bert Moses. She is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Jack S. Teubert, son John Teubert and his wife Beth, grandson Jackson Teubert & his wife Callie, sisters Patty Ann Irick and Betty Ann Beale, numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. She graduated from Nuttall High School Lookout WV in 1948. She married her husband Jack in 1950 and moved to Cleveland, Ohio. In 1952 Jack joined the United States Air Force taking them many places including the Philippines, Oregon, and California before settling in Hendersonville, TN in 1974.
Lee was a faithful member of Indian Lake Peninsula Church (formerly Bluegrass Baptist Church) until her passing. Lee taught a Swedish weaving class at the church & was a member of the senior adult group. She also coordinated a group at the church to drive cancer patients to their appointments. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, avid cook and dear friend to many. Graveside service will be held at 11 am at Hendersonville Memory Gardens Sept. 14th, 2022, with Mike Mayo officiating. The family would like to thank the staff of NHC Place, Sumner for their loving care over the past several weeks and the Alive Hospice Group for their care & support during Lee’s final days.
