Linda Gayle Denny, age 77, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, passed away on September 2, 2021 in Gallatin, TN after a long illness. She is preceded in death by her father James Rae Denny, mother Margaret Osment Denny and brother John Everett Denny.

She is survived by her brother J. William Denny of Nashville, TN; nephews K. Scott Denny (Jacque) of Huntsville, AL and S. Kurt Denny (Eli) of Nashville, TN; niece Dawn Denny Evans (Bill) of Nashville, TN; nephew James R. Denny II (Ellen) of Paducah, KY and several great nieces and nephews. Linda is also survived by her long time business partner and friend, Margie Singleton & family.

Linda attended Peabody College in Nashville, TN and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Education in 1964 and a Masters of Education in 1965.

After college Linda taught elementary and middle school in Sumner County, TN however her desire was to work in the country music industry as her immediate family worked in it. After teaching several years she later fulfilled her lifelong dream of working in the country music industry by forming an entertainment and booking agency, Country Music Spectacular.

A “Victory Celebration” will be held Saturday September 18, 2021 at 2:00 at the Hendersonville Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Linda’s name to her beloved church -  Hendersonville Pentecostal Church (151 Rockland Rd, Hendersonville, TN 37075)
