Lloyd Kronitz

Lloyd Kronitz, age 68, of Gallatin, TN passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2019. He was born in Bronx, New York on April 1, 1951 to the late Morris and Lola Kronitz.

Lloyd loved his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be truly missed. Lloyd is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Colleen Walter Kronitz; sisters, Karen (Vincent) Fierro, and Janet (Mike) Dluhi; children Lauren (Joe) Lodl, Jared (Tara) Kronitz, Brandon (Brigitte) Hayes, and Chad Hayes; grandchildren, Bailey, Emma, Joshua, Adrien, Braydon, Matthew, Raegan, Easton and Blake. He is also survived by his adored nephews, niece, and cousins.

He enjoyed his weekly Friday night card game with his wife and friends. An avid sports fan, Lloyd was passionate about the New York Jets and Mets, University of Maryland basketball, and championed his family's athletic pursuits. He enjoyed reading and discussing science fiction and astronomy. He cared for all creatures big and small, especially his cats. Lloyd worked hard and played hard; upon retirement he realized a life-long dream of owning a Corvette.

A life celebration will be held at 1pm, Tuesday August 6, 2019 at Hendersonville Funeral Home with burial at Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends from 5:30-8pm on Monday evening.
