Lydia Bawcom

Lydia Bawcom age 76 of Goodlettsville TN, passed away in her home on Tuesday April 21, 2020.

Lydia, born May 5, 1943 is preceded in death by her parents James & Dorothy Rush; sister Dot Piercey; brother Mousie Rush. She is survived by her 2 daughters Melody(Monty) Grant and Belinda (Robert) MCabe; 3 grandchildren Angela McCabe, Rachel McCabe, and Brandon McCabe; 4 sisters Rose Elmore, Anne Gray, Helen Landers and Gail (Joe) DeSpain; 1 brother Chuck Rush.

After she retired from JC Penney's at Rivergate Mall (20+ years of service), she worked part-time at Walmart in Hendersonville to stay active. She loved being around people and never met a stranger. Lydia was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
