Elvert Dale New, born January 20, 1931 in Sasakwa, OK to Opal Lela Rape & Hurchel Lee New. Crooked Oak High school & Conners Junior College is where he played football with his friends & studied petroleum engineering. "Rather than being drafted, he enlisted" in the Air Force to fly. After 6 years active service & 15 years Air National Guard, Major New retired from fighter jets. His service overseas, increased his passion to see the world. As Captain with Capitol Airways, he flew internationally & eventually retired in 1997 as freight pilot; yet never stopped exploring. He was a frequent guest at reunions, parties, wine festivals, & celebrations worldwide; always with a camera. Dec 2, 2016, at age 85, he left our world & rejoined the love of his life, Anneliese Hé�hl, his brother, Hilton, & his parents. He is survived by his son, Christopher New, age 44, living in TN; his daughter, Natalie New, age 42, living in MO, a Delta Flight Attendant. His wish will be fulfilled, as his ashes are spread in over 100 countries. His spirit lives in all of us.
