Margaret Deborah Davis Atwell was born on March 26, 1948, in Nashville, Tennessee. She passed away on December 27, 2025, in Keystone Heights, Florida, where she resided. Margaret was a graduate of Joelton High School.

Margaret enjoyed many hobbies that showcased her creativity. She loved to sew, scrapbook, make quilts, and sing at church, sharing her talents with those around her.

Margaret is survived by her loving husband, Larry Atwell; her sons, David (Sharon) Davis and Michael (Heather) Davis; her half-brother, Joe (Susan) Jones; and her grandchildren, Hunter Davis, Alyx Davis, Saylor Davis, and Jay Noffsinger, along with several bonus grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her father, John Butterworth; her mother, Lois Butterworth; her stepmother, Gail Butterworth; and her first husband, Clarence Davis.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Hendersonville Funeral Home located at 353 E Main St, Hendersonville, TN, starting at 10:30 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 AM.
