Margaret Goings

Margaret Fay Goings, age 83, passed away on December 3, 2022.  Margaret was born on January 8, 1939 in Speer,Illinois to Jeptha Wilhite Denney and Clara Elizabeth (Garner) Denney.

Margaret worked as a registered nurse for 30+ years.  She loved quilting, sewing, and cross stitch.

Margaret is preceded in death by her husband James Goings and her sister Ann Kuelper.  She is survived by her daughters Becky (Danny) Ankenbauer, Beth Shinault Ellison, and Sue Ellen Slaughter.  In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren Matt Shinault, Alex Shinault, Magen Morris, and Jessica Ankenbauer.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 10am-2pm will a service to begin at 2pm in the Chapel at Hendersonville Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
