Mrs. Marilyn Hope Organ Gross age 86, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2019.

Mrs. Gross was born in Yonkers, NY, on September 7, 1933, the daughter of the late Joseph Organ and Harriett McCoy Organ. She was a parishioner at Our Lake of the Lake Catholic Church where she was a member of the Newcomers' Group. Mrs. Gross was a member of the Red Hat Society. She retired from Barnett Bank after twenty-five plus years of service. Prior worked at Briar Cliff College, Flo-Sweet, and Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. Mrs. Gross enjoyed traveling, line dancing, and doing many crafts, such as knitting, crocheting, and needle pointing. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gross was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Organ and a sister, Harriett Holmes.

Survivors include her husband, Donald "Don" Gross, to whom she was married on September 7, 1957; a daughter, Cheryl (Randy) Niedermaier; a son, Greg (Debbie) Gross; three granddaughters, Amy Niedermaier, Erin Niedermaier, and Kaley Allen; a grandson, Lucas Gross; and a great-grandson, Houston Newton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 28, 2019, at 10:00 A.M., Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Friday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Hendersonville Funeral Home.
