Marjorie Ellen Buck, affectionately known as Marge, passed away on January 9, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on December 31, 1938, in Nashville, Tennessee, Marge was a beacon of creativity and love who touched the lives of many through her selfless spirit and artistic talents.
A proud graduate of East High School, Marge continued her education by earning a master's degree in psychology from Trevecca Nazarene University. Her commitment to learning extended beyond the classroom; she was an active member of Toastmasters and led a book club at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, where her passion for literature inspired those around her.
Known for her creativity, Marge loved scrapbooking, making photo albums, and crafting beautiful cards for every occasion. Whether it was through stitching, coloring, or drawing, her artistic talents always shone brightly. Each card she made reflected her heart, embodying her affection for those she loved.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Helen Ruth Buck, her father, John Buck Sr., her brother, John Buck Jr., and her children, Donna Eaton and Mark Eaton.
Marge had a profound love for her family. She took great pride in her uncles who served valiantly in World War II and often shared their stories with deep respect and admiration. Her legacy of love is carried on by her surviving family, including her sons Joe Eaton and Andy (Brandy) Eaton, her cherished grandchildren: Beth Yerkey (Steven), Darrell Thompson, Jaimie (David) Brooks, Lensley Eaton, and Porter Eaton, and great-grandchildren: Ashley Yerkey, Tabitha Yerkey, Jessica Yerkey, Steven Jr. Yerkey, Hope Thompson, Lilly Croft, Paisley Brooks, and Bruce Brooks. She is also survived by her cousins who gave their love and support to her right to the end.
Marge's devotion to her family was evident in everything she did, always putting their needs before her own, and celebrating each special moment with her creative handiwork. She will be remembered for her warmth, her artistry, and most of all, her unwavering love.
