Mark Wade Hyde

Mark Wade Hyde, age 43, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024.  He was born on February 14, 1981 in Hendersonville, Tennessee.  Mark is preceded in death by grandparents, Jasper Val Harmon, Jr., Merrol N. Hyde, Sr., and Mildred Lassiter Hyde.  He is survived by daughter, Jocelyn Elizabeth Hyde; parents, Merrol and Beverly Hyde; brother, Michael Scott Hyde (Amber); grandmother, Elizabeth Harmon; nephews, Jacob Mark Hyde, Caleb Michael Hyde; niece, Bailey Sharon Hyde; and foster brothers, James “Buddy” Harris and Frank Bills.

Mark attended Gallatin Senior High School and Vol State.  He loved all sports.  During his schooling he played soccer, basketball, and football.  Mark enjoyed playing online chess with people from all over the world.  He was a member of Hendersonville Church of the Nazarene.  Mark loved God, his family, and friends.  Mark loved his daughter, Jocelyn, more than words could express.  She is his joy!

Matt LaMarr, Justin Wall, Billy Alexander, Alex Haliburton, Andrew Callis, and Frank Bills will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with Funeral Service being held immediately following at Hendersonville Funeral Home with Pastor Duane Harris officiating.   Private graveside service to follow.
