Mary Joan Taylor, 87, of Hendersonville, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020. Preceded in death by her parents; Daniel and Margaret (Shisler) Looker. Survived by her husband Donald of 70 years, children; Mike Taylor (Beverly) of Hendersonville and Diann Taylor Rausch (Edward) of Omaha, Nebraska, grandchildren; Rebecca Rausch Miner, Jessica Rausch Dickson, Laura Rausch Anderson, Ken Taylor and Dan Taylor, great-grandchildren; Grant Miner, Morgan Dickson, Clay Rausch, Taylor Anderson and Ellie Taylor. Mary is also survived by many extended family and friends.
Mary was born on February 4, 1933 in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from St. Joseph Academy High School in Columbus. Mary worked as a Sales Associate for menswear at FR Lazarus in Columbus for over 20 year. She also worked for the American Concrete Pumpers Association in Columbus.
Mary loved to craft, decorate and travel the world with Don. She was an avid golfer and loved to play bridge with Don as her partner.
Mary was the president of Holy Name Society at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Columbus and was a member of the Women's Club in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. Mary was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of life gathering will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home, 353 East Main Street in Hendersonville on Thursday, October 15th from 5:00 PM - 7:00PM. Mary will be interred along side her parents in Columbus, Ohio.
