Maxine Brown

Maxine Collins Brown, age 87, of Nashville, TN passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022. Maxine was the daughter of the late Fred and Katie Belle Wilson Collins.

Maxine was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Katie Collins; sisters Marie Hansen, Chris Griffith, and Elizabeth Griffith; brother Fred Collins, Jr.; daughter in-law Sandra Brown.

Maxine is survived by her sons; Gary Brown (Christina); Jerry Brown, and Mike Brown; brother Richard Collins, sister Helen Minzey; daughter in-law Cindy Brown; grandchildren Jason Brown (Tera), Dusty Brown (Adriane), Brandy Coker (Ryan), Hayley Huff (Dustin), Lindsay Hickock (Cody), Leslie Brown, and Taylor Brown (John Tyler); fifteen great-grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate Maxine’s life will be at 6pm on the evening of Monday, December 12, 2022 at Hendersonville Funeral Home with John Penfield officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the start of the service.

Maxine retired from The United States Federal Government as an Administrative Assistant and retired a second time as an Administrative Assistant from 21st Century Christian Bookstore. Maxine loved sewing and reading. She was a member of Cornerstone Church. Maxine will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
