Ronald Michael Lott, “Mike,“ was born on November 20, 1970 in Heidelberg, Germany. He passed away on March 12, 2026. He matriculated as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Memphis, majoring in finance and marketing. While at the university, he served as a member of the Kappa Sigma (ΚΣ) fraternity, which was established in 1869 as one of the largest fraternities of brotherhood.

As an MBA, he served in several executive level positions throughout the US. Comments from his peers, subordinates, and leaders describe Mike as a unique soul with energy and grace, a great boss, a mentor, a wonderful person, an extremely giving person and a good man, I thought of him like a brother, and I take comfort knowing he is with Jesus.

Mike was born in Heidelberg, Germany as a military dependent up until his entry into college. This involved his traveling and living at numerous military installations in the US and overseas. He was a member of his high school Reserve Officer Training Corp for several years and a member of the Boy Scouts of America. He played junior and senior football and soccer in middle school. The dedication to excellence was a hallmark of his character, influencing many aspects of his life.

He is a member of the First Baptist Church of Hendersonville, where he served for many years as Sunday School Teacher for preschool level children. He proudly lived his life as a Christian through his personal life and professional life, from childhood until his death.

He is survived by his sons, Whitman Lott, Kirk Lott, and Grant Lott all of Hendersonville. As a sole parent for the past 11 years of his life, he was solely dedicated to his sons to ensure they had love and everything they needed and what they wanted. He is also survived by his fiancé, Debbie Brodrick Gage of Hendersonville, who was scheduled for their wedding in May.

He is survived by his father, Dr. Ronald Joe Lott and his mother, Kathy P Lott residing in Clarksville Tennessee; one sister, Kathy Michelle Dyce (fiancé, Russell) of Clarksville; one nephew, Preston Dyce (Michaela); their children, Georgia and Wylder; and a niece, Emili (Seth Devine).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19,2026 from 10 AM until 12 noon followed by a memorial service starting at noon at the First Baptist Church of Hendersonville (106 Bluegrass Commons Blvd., Hendersonville, TN 37075) .
