Mr. Mitchell E. Farris age 73, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020.

Mr. Farris was born in Madison, TN, on January 2, 1947, the son of the late Gerald Farris and Marie Hollis Farris. He was a member of Madison Church of Christ. He retired from Farris Machine & Tool as the Executive Vice President. Mr. Farris enjoyed fishing, car mechanics,
and wood working especially making bird houses. He will be remembered most for always saying "Do the Right Thing." In addition to his parents, Mr. Farris was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Farris and a son, Michael Farris.

Survivors include two sisters, Geraldine Jones and Mary Ann Farris; brother-in-law, Bruce Carter; sister-in-law, Mary (Kromer) Ice; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at 2:00 P.M., Hendersonville Funeral Home with Russ Corley officiating. Interment will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.

Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Tuesday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Wednesday from noon until the service hour at Hendersonville Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will be serving as pallbearers: Bruce Carter, Allen Roberts, Christopher Graves, Ronnie Jones, Jimmy Graves, and Brandon Woodall.
