Myra "Jean" Richardson, age 87, of Hendersonville, TN passed away on Monday, May 17,2021 surrounded by her family. Jean was born in Nashville, TN and was the daughter of the late Ewing and Beulah Pomeroy Dye.

Jean is survived by her loving husband of 68 years Mitchell Richardson; sons Danny Richardson (Betty) and Doug Richardson (Lisa); grandchildren, Doug Richardson, Daniel Richardson (Neesa), Michele Madson (Kyle), Kyle Richardson and Allison Richardson; great grandchildren; Kellen Richardson, Brecken Richardson and Ella Rose Madson. Mrs. Richardson was preceded in death by her grandson Jason Richardson.

Services to celebrate Mrs. Richardson's life will be held at 11am on the morning of Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Hendersonville Funeral Home with Brother Eddie Hodges and Brother Reed Wilkerson officiating. Gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-8pm on the afternoon of Friday, May 21,2021 at Hendersonville Funeral Home. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the start of the service.

Jean was a Christian woman and helped start Hendersonville Free Will Baptist Church and she was a Sunday School Teacher for 50 years. She loved to crochet and cook. Mrs. Richardson loved traveling with her family to the beach and the mountains. She truly loved her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In lieu of floral tributes the family has requested that donations be made to the Pat Summitt Foundation.
