Nancy Towe Edwards passed away peacefully on Monday, October 5th, 2020 at the age of 77.
Nancy was born on January 16th, 1943 in Asheville, North Carolina. She had a sweet spirit and a loving heart. Nancy always found the joy and good in everyone and everything.

She settled in Hendersonville, TN where she raised her family. During that time, she pursued a career in real estate working for Jim Cassetty Realtors. In 1989 she founded Bailey Special Risks, Inc., a wholesale insurance brokerage firm.
She enjoyed many hobbies both creative and leisurely. Sewing beautiful clothes for her grandchildren and friends. Playing the piano and singing in chorus. Traveling near and far with her family and dear friends.
She was a proud member of First Baptist Church in Hendersonville and found great joy with her many friends in the Fred Bracey Sunday school class.

Preceded in death by her parents, Ann Helen Ingle and Samuel Moore Towe. Her beloved son James W Edwards, Jr.
Survived by her daughter, Janet E Smith (Kirk), grandchildren Bailey Smith and Jake Smith (Blaike).

Visitation will be held on the afternoon of Sunday, October 11 from 2pm to 5pm at the Hendersonville Funeral Home. A second visitation will be held 30 minutes before the start of the service on Monday. A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, October 12 at 10 am at the Hendersonville Funeral Home 353 E. Main St Hendersonville, TN 37075
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you make a donation to First Baptist Church of Hendersonville, TN in her memory.
