Obey Preston Ezzell-age 82 passed away October 3, 2014. He is preceded in death by parents, Floyd Alto and Ouida Pearl Ezzell; and son, David Preston Ezzell.
Obey was a Christian man that was saved and baptized in Mississippi.
He was a retiree from AT&T and the state of Tennessee. He never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone he ever met. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word to say. He enjoyed going to gospel singings and spending time with his family. He was a great man that will be deeply missed
Survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Mary P. Ezzell; daughter, Elizabeth Ezzell; grandson, David Andrew Ezzell; brother, Charles (Shirley) Ezzell; sister, Ouida (Cleston) Bolton, Geneva (Carlton) Thomas and Lottie Ruth (Norman) Thorn; many loving nieces and nephews also survive.
A celebration of life service will be held on Monday 11 am at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
