Ossie Cruze

Ossie Cruze, 98, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021.

Born January 26, 1923, in Middlesboro, KY, she was the daughter of the late Lewis F. and Mary Margaret Martin Turner.
Ossie was a true homemaker. She loved cooking and sewing. Her hobbies included playing bingo and garage sales. She and her late husband, Claude, relocated to Florida after marriage, where she loved the weather and enjoyed taking family to Disney.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Lorrain M. Flanary; seven sisters and two brothers.

She is survived by the following family; grandson, Brian (Susan) Flanary of Hendersonville, TN and their daughters (Alyza and Alyvia), granddaughters, Anna Edmondson and Leslye (Tim) Branscom, brother Sherrill (Amy) Turner, and sister Nadine (Jack) Evans; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held Friday, March 12, 2021, at 2:00 P.M., Community Church, Hendersonville, TN with Pastor Doug Varnado presiding.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to Gilda's Club Middle Tennessee 1707 Division Street, Nashville, TN 37203.
