Robert Park Miller age 83 of Hendersonville, TN. passed away on Thursday September 12th 2019 in Gallatin, TN.

In recent days he was lovingly referred to as "Sheriff". His legacy is his devotion and the love he had for my mom, Emma Sue. He cared for her daily for over a year as she was bedridden from a stroke. He adopted many of the nursing home residents caring for them as family. Park loved many things, he was a fierce loving husband, daddy, granddaddy, uncle and friend. He loved wood carving, fishing and achieved a black belt in karate in younger years. He and mom even enjoyed square dancing. More recently he became an elder at Luna Lane Church of Christ. He never missed an opportunity to publicly thank our policemen and veterans for their service to our public. He was a private, humble giving man who loved to help people. He believed it was his job to give and love even if the situation was uncomfortable for some.

Funeral Services for Mr. Miller will be held on Friday September 20th 2019 at 10:00AM in the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors on Thursday September 19th from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Hendersonville Funeral Home.

Park is preceded in death by his parents Robert & Mildred Miller, & Father/Mother-In-Laws Randolph & Gertrude James.

He is survived by his loving wife Emma Sue Miller. His daughter Susan M. & (Tad) Tillemans, brother Charles & (Linda) Miller, sister-in-law Mary Lou & (Jerry) Flatt, brother-in-law John H. & (Jane) James, Brother-in-law Joe R. & (Betty) James.
