Patricia "Pat" Lynn Figueroa (née Sager), age 72, of Gallatin, Tennessee, passed away on July 18, 2025.
Born on October 7, 1952, in Coshocton, Ohio, Pat graduated from New Lexington High School in 1970 and went on to earn her degree from the University of Florida in 1975. Her life was one of quiet strength, creative passion, and enduring faith.
A devoted member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Pat lived her beliefs in both word and deed. She was a cherished member of the Council of Catholic Women and the Our Lady of the Lake Quilt Guild, where she shared her remarkable talents and deep sense of community.
Pat was a world-class seamstress, cook, and baker—known for her exquisite cakes made from scratch and the festive, personalized pajamas she crafted for her grandchildren each Christmas. Her hands never rested idle: she crocheted warm hats for the homeless and premature newborns, sewed custom clothes indistinguishable from designer wear, and hosted every family holiday with grace and joy.
She had an insatiable curiosity, often diving deep into historical fiction or church history and thoroughly researching any topic that piqued her interest. Her intellect was matched by her warmth, making her a beloved figure not only in her family but also in her wider community.
Above all, Pat was the heart of her family—celebrating every birthday with a homemade cake, welcoming all with open arms during the holidays, and offering the quiet, steadfast support that shaped generations.
Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Marquis L. Sager and Margaret A. Sager.
Pat is survived by her spouse, Jose Figueroa (Married: April 25, 1981) of Nashville; son, Timothy Figueroa (Adrienne M. Figueroa) of Nashville and Christopher Figueroa (Jessica D. Figueroa) of Nashville; grandsons, Nikola Figueroa of Nashville, Mattias Figueroa of Nashville, and Michael Figueroa of Nashville; her sister, Ann Johnson of Kennett Square, PA; and her aunt, Doris Veigel of Clearwater, FL.
Her legacy of love, creativity, and generosity will live on in the lives she touched and the traditions she began.
