Paul went to be with Jesus after a courageous battle with Muscular Dystrophy and fought it valiantly until he was 58. When diagnosed at a young age, doctors said he would not live to be in his forties. He proved them wrong. He was the symbol of courage and bravery. He was loved by countless people and inspired so many. He was a devoted friend. He is known for his great smile, sense of humor, and joyful attitude. He loved being on the water, helped build boats at one time, gardening, bird watching, enjoying the scenes of the outdoors, and also was devoted to his sweet dogs. The ashes of his most recent dog, Holly will be buried with him. He was a very talented wood worker – made detailed cabinets, picture frames, wood ink pens, crosses, cutting boards, grandfather clocks, guitars, etc., but his biggest claim to fame was the heart boxes he made for all of his friends and family. They are a true treasure and a wonderful keepsake to remember Paul. He touched many lives and will not be forgotten.
