Ms. Penny Short Busey, age 54, of Smyrna, passed away on December 7, 2019 in Murfreesboro, TN. She was born on December 25, 1964 in Nashville, TN to the late Forrest and Lera Short.

Penny is survived by her son, Clinton (Kristen); brother, Jimmy (Denise); nephew, Chris Short; and niece, Jennifer Short.

Penny enjoyed collecting fancy jewelry, shopping from QVC, and watching old western movies. She was also an avid Green Bay Packers fan.

A visitation for Penny will be held from 10am-2pm on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Hendersonville Funeral Home.

Family asks that in lieu of flower donations be made to Alive Hospice Rutherford County or Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute.
