Philip T. Martens

Philip T. Martens, age 88, passed away on August 18, 2023 in Hendersonville, Tennessee. 

Philip was born on March 16, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Mabel and George Martens.  In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by children, Phil Martens, Jr., William Scott Martens, and Patty Cox; and sister, Mary Ann Stevenson.  Philip is survived by children, Karen Hamill (Michael) and Michael Martens; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; daughters-in-law, Elisa Martens Henley and Cindy Martens.

Philip proudly served his country in the United States Army.  He is a member of American Legion.  Philip enjoyed working in his yard, gardening, and collecting coins.  

Philip may no longer be with us physically, but his memory and impact live on in our hearts forever.
