Mr. Phillip Douglas Pennington "Phil" age 75, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Monday January 25, 2021.

Mr. Pennington was born in Michie, TN, on July 16, 1945, the son of the late Homer Pennington and Mary Leo Vanderford Pennington. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Mr. Pennington attended Hendersonville First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his sister, Mary Ann Hood (John); niece, Debra Drayton Osborne; nephew, Don F. Drayton, II (Kay), of Hendersonville, TN; and other numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 30, 2021, at 11:00 A.M., Hendersonville Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens with military honors.

Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at Hendersonville Funeral Home.
