Renee Berntsen

Renee Berntsen, age 56, of Castalian Springs, Tennessee, passed away on June 21, 2026.

Born on July 19, 1969, in Pueblo, Colorado, Renee was the beloved daughter of the late Harlan and Angelina Richardson. Throughout her life, she was devoted to her family and found her greatest joy in caring for those she loved.

Renee dedicated her life to being a homemaker, lovingly raising her four children and creating a warm and welcoming home for her family. She also had a special place in her heart for animals and devoted much of her time to caring for her many beloved pets.

Renee was a proud member of the Elk Lodge, where she enjoyed fellowship and friendship within her community.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harlan and Angelina Richardson, and her brother, Kenneth Richardson.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 35 years, Robert Berntsen; her children, Jessica, Eric, Elizabeth, and Lisa; and her 9 grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate Renee's life will be held on July 19, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Hendersonville Funeral Home, 353 East Main Street, Hendersonville, Tennessee 37075.
